Potluck is a community-powered platform helping busy families, caregivers, and working parents share the labor of meal preparation through trusted meal swaps.
We're addressing the invisible mental load of "What's for dinner?" — reducing time, stress, food waste, and costs while rebuilding local connection through food.
Potluck isn't another food delivery or generic meal planning app.
It’s a reimagination of how we feed ourselves, care for each other, and strengthen our communities — starting with dinner.
We’ve validated the model through pilots and early adopter feedback, and we’re gearing up to build our first MVP to bring Potluck to life at scale.

To transform mealtime from a daily burden into a shared act of care, connection, and community resilience: giving people back time, dignity, and joy around food.
Our mission:

To help families, caregivers, and communities reclaim time and build trust through reciprocal, community-powered meal sharing — while investing back into the local ecosystems that sustain us.

Hi, I’m Shannon Amspacher — the founder of Potluck.
Potluck is a deeply personal mission for me. As a working parent and caregiver, I’ve lived the exact pain points we’re solving: the daily stress of “What’s for dinner?”, the mental load of planning, and the craving for more connection around mealtime.
Beyond personal experience, I bring a professional background that directly supports Potluck’s success:
I’ve personally bootstrapped Potluck to this stage, investing significant financial and sweat equity, and driving early validation through a live pilot, a business pitch competition, research partnerships, and growing brand traction. My work sits at the intersection of care, community, and technology — and I’m now looking for a mission-aligned technical leader to join me in bringing Potluck to life at scale.
